the INSPIRED Challenge
So what I’d like to do with this blog, is try something new…to help people everywhere who are going to “try” to lose weight again for 2007…a New Year’s Resolution!
In our minds it always serves us pretty well to choose a date, sometimes it is arbitrary, often it is the same for many when a new year rings in, to resolve to change! Everyone does it. They say to themselves,
“tomorrow, I will begin” or
“starting Monday, everything will be different” or
“this year I will do it…for sure!”
So if you are planning of starting the new year, by turning over a new leaf, and would like to lose weight, or accomplish something great, I urge you to visit us during your journey, share your progress, and add your comments to any of our blog entries. As we get closer to what we believe is a complete picture of what INSPIRED will become, we will share our discoveries along the way…who knows, maybe it will help you get through a challenging day once in a while…
Send us your blog address, so we can provide it to others so you can learn from what others have already done before you.
You guys are doin great
Steve-
Your Blog is great! I’d be up for blogging a little myself. I’m feeling so motivated! My wife Courtney said that I look sexier now that I’ve lost 12 pounds.
Keep it up.

Steve,
Cool movie concept. I hope it works out.
As for me, I don’t have goals yet. That might be my first problem. Other than that, my life’s right on track.

I can’t wait to see this movie. I really believe in my heart 2007 is the year. I found out about your movie from a guy at the Y.
I recently decided to change my life. This week I started to do something I’ve never ever done before. I walked a mile every morning before work. And you know… I feel better. It didn’t kill me.
In January I saw Bob Greene on the Oprah show, and one of the things he recommended was to give up wine/beer/alcohol for a month (to start). Since January 22, I’ve not had any. I love how my feelings are my own, and not colored by what I’ve drank.
My goal is to lose 100lbs before I’m 40. That gives me 2 years to change my life completely. Babysteps, but I’m going in the right direction for once.
Looking forward to seeing more, wish you post your trailer on Youtube so readers of my blog could see it more easily.
Hey Steve,
The cruise was great. It made a huge difference in my mindset. I started a new blog:

I will update it regularly with my progress. I just started my BFL Challenge today June 6th.
Best Regards,

Hey Steve,
My journey to better health began ironically on January 1, 2004 as I made it my New Year’s resolution to lose weight on the Atkins diet that year. One year later, I was transformed from a 410-pound slob of a morbidly obese man into a lean, mean fat-burning machine losing 180 pounds!
Here it is over three years later and I’ve KEPT the weight off by continuing to do those same things that helped me get my life back in the first place. Anyone who has dealt with morbid obesity like I have will still struggle, but that is what keeps you constantly motivated to maintain your weight.
My goal for this year is to move beyond the 230-pound mark on my 6′3″ frame to finally get below 200 pounds. I haven’t weighed that light since I was in the 5th grade! SERIOUSLY! So it’s quite a challenge that I’m up for.
THANK YOU for what you are doing to spread the positive message of hope, motivation, and concern for those who need to be INSPIRED. I am confident this film will move many overweight and obese people to finally get serious about their weight problem. God bless you, my friend, and keep fighting the good fight. It’s a noble one indeed!

Steve-
Just wanted to let you know that I am down 32 pounds sinse January. I think I’d like to lose 10 more. Your work on this movie is inspiring me everyday. I’m eating the right foods and working out. Consistancy in both what and how much I eat and in working out with Intensity are the keys to my success so far.

I started my journey in February. Got a little lost along the way and have been gaining and losing the same 5 pounds for a few moths now. But I’m back with a renewed vigor to press on. We’re moving into our new home this winter and I refuse to bring the excess weight with me!
I really like the concept of the movie. You have put a lot of hard work into this- the website, the pamphlet Bone Crusher was looking at… way to go! I love it when people don’t stop at dreaming their dreams~
Blessings, and Health!
